Biographical Sketch
I was born a Texan, but raised an Okie, and I consider Moore, OK to be my hometown. In 1980, while attending Oklahoma State University, I met the two most important people in my life: my wife, Sandy, and my Savior, Jesus. It was a very good year! Family Sandy and I were married August 22, 1981 at Agra, Oklahoma. We have four amazing children; AJ, Caleb, Abby, and Tori, and the Lord continues to bless us with an increasing number of grandchildren (8 at present count).

Time in Ministry / Call to Ministry
I served as pastor of FBC Union City, OK from 1986-1990. After receiving my M.Div. degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, our family left to serve with the International Mission Board from 1990-2015, in the countries of Argentina, Peru, and Israel.

Life Verse
Romans 5:8 “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

I love to hunt, fish, and do woodworking, and will hardly ever turn down an invitation to play golf.
