What To Expect

A typical service will last about 60 minutes. We sing a good mix of contemporary and traditional music that is led by our worship team. There is childcare available and activities for all age groups. Plan to hang around after the service for fellowship and meeting new people.

Welcome

What About Other Days?
We’re glad you asked! God is with us all week long and we offer some great opportunities to be a part of this church community throughout the week. We have mid-week services and activities for all ages, small groups that meet at different times throughout the week, and opportunities to serve the church and community in various ways.

For those with Disabilities
We have wheelchair access points at every entrance around campus. Every parking area also has plenty of handicapped parking near main entrances. If we can help you or your family with any further needs, please contact our church office at 405-682-1636.
When to Arrive
We currently offer several worship opportunities to choose from. Join us every Sunday at 8:00 or 10:00 a.m. and 5p.m. We also have Sunday School groups at 9:00 a.m. It’s best if you are bringing children to arrive 15-20 minutes before service for check-in. Otherwise, feel free to show up early and meet some of the great people here at Southern Hills before the service begins.

What to Wear
Wear what you feel comfortable in. We have a wide range at Southern Hills from people wearing jeans and a polo to suits and ties. Either way, we’re just glad you’re here!

What to Expect
Going anywhere for the first time can be an uncertain experience. To help avoid worry, here’s a quick summary of what you can expect at Southern Hills: If you’ve brought your kids, check them in at the children’s area at the south end of the campus. Our staff will help walk you through this process. If you’re going to Sunday School, one of our greeters will direct you to a great group of people you can spend the hour with. Make your way to the Worship Center and find a seat. No matter where you sit, you’ll have a great seat and be able to see everything through any of the large screens around the Worship Center. The service usually begins with some music from our choir and orchestra. Feel free to sing along and engage or just sit back and relax. After a few songs, a time of shaking hands with people around you, and a message for the older children, we’ll hear a sermon from Pastor Doug.
