  Matthew 11:25-26

1. Our praying needs both praise and thanksgiving.

2. Jesus shows us an example of gratitude for the gospel.

 • the deeds of Jesus vss 2-6

 • the prophecies vss 11-15

 • the desperate need to repent vss 20-24

 • the day of judgment vss 20-24

 • the reality of heaven and hell vss 20-24

 • the worst sin of all is unbelief vss 20-24

3. Spiritual truth is understood through humility and dependence on God, not through human pride, status, or academic intelligence.
