  2 Corinthians 8:16-24

  Ch 1 - Comfort and suffering both cause us to rely more on Jesus Christ.

  Ch 2 - Focus on forgiveness and spreading the fragrance of the knowledge of Jesus Christ.

  Ch 3 - Transformed into the image of Christ.

  Ch 4 - Fulfill your ministry and share your faith.

  Ch 5 - Be reconciled to God who gave us the ministry of reconciliation.

  Ch 6 - Working together with God, we live a life of contrast.

  Ch 7 - Live with joy and without regret.

  Ch 8 - Giving is an act of grace.

  Central Truth - The goal for a follower of Christ is to live honorably in the sight of the Lord and in the sight of people. 

1. God provides the goal for your life; you must make it your aim.

2. Living honorably means pleasing to the Lord and persuasively toward others.

  “Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor. Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord.“
