“Worth It All” - Dr. Doug Melton

  2 Corinthians 6:3-13

  What are you willing to go through in order to demonstrate to a lost world that Jesus Christ is truly worth it all?

1. We will put no obstacle in your way to knowing this life.

  “Do not, for the sake of food, destroy the work of God. Everything is indeed clean, but it is wrong for anyone to make another stumble by what he eats. It is good not to eat meat or drink wine or do anything that causes your brother to stumble.”

  Romans 14:20-21

2. We will demonstrate ourselves as servants of God in every way.

  • by the way we persevere;

  • by the way we walk;

  • by the way we talk;

  • by the way we fight;

  • by the way we are treated and mistreated.

3. We will live a life of contrast to the world’s view of us.

  “Oh, dear Corinthian friends! We have spoken honestly with you, and our hearts are open to you. There is no lack of love on our part, but you have withheld your love from us. I am asking you to respond as if you were my own children. Open your hearts to us!“
