1. Take this seriously.

2. Self-examination must be done in light of the cross.

3. You’re not examining others.

4. This exam is pass/fail and you will not be graded on the curve.

  Question 1 - Am I living with Christ by God‘s power? (v 4)

  Question 2 - Is it your prayer/desire to do nothing wrong but to pursue doing right? (v 7)

  Question 3 - Are you for the truth? (v 8)

  Question 4 - Are you growing toward full spiritual maturity? (v 9)
