“Jesus in Prayer”

Luke 6:12-16

Point One - “In these days” -

Jesus’s praying was set in real life living.

Jesus shows us the example that before you make a decision, pray.

Point Two - “He went out to the mountain to pray” -

Deliberate, desolate, devoid of distractions

“Now it happened that as He was praying alone, the disciples were with him.“

Luke 9:18

Point Three - “He continued in prayer to God” -

The mystery of God the Son talking to God the Father

Point Four - “He called His disciples and chose from them twelve” -

The close connection between prayer and being a disciple
